Yeah what Larry said. I've already seen fleets changing back over to gas engines. I work on modern emissions diesel engines for a living and I wouldn't own one. Now I do have a soft spot for 24 valve VP44 Cummins and would own one in a heartbeat.

This. The trans is what I would be worried about most. I would drop the pan and see what's in it before the trip.

Ok. I've used the OTC/International tool kit for doing cups and knew how to get them out without it but have always used the special driver to put them in. I'll save this in the old memory bank.

24 valve with a VP44 IP, my favorite Cummins. Just needs a good lift pump. Nice build you have going. Have you seen the Diesel Power Products Superduty Raptor?

Those front hubs are not 80's era, they are early 70's, so unless someone swapped older hubs or front axle in I don't think Pathfinder did this conversion in the 80's.

The front hubs are '74 era.
