They came with the artic tern windows. They are a combo screen/shade, we are happy with the setup. Wish the windows came tinted but otherwise have been great. https://www.ternoverland.com/arctic-tern-window

Removing bulkhead/enlarging pass through on box van

I called and talked with Supreme Mfg. about this. Make the cut out about 3" smaller from the center of the thru/cab bolts. No additional support is necessary, the support from the cab is sufficient. You can find the edge molding on eBay or amazon. Good luck!

Flipping Detroit Truetrac gears? Rear in the front!? Anybody done this on something as big and heavy as a E350/D60???

9500lbs here. Truetrac in the front and factory limited slip in the rear, we are extremely happy with this setup. Have put it through the paces on multiple terrains, although the majority of 4x4 time is in deep sand.

    Box Van Help

Personal experience opinions... We love the Ford platform. We ran a e250 with a 5.4 and 4r75 for 3 years. A Ujoint diy 6” kit, 35s and 4,56 gears. Weighed in at 9300lbs fully loaded. We loved the 5.4, it did everything asked of it. You have to apply the skinny pedal and let her rev and I...

Alls good in the hood. Truck was built to explore the coasts of Baja, Mexico, and Central America in the winters and we are doing just that. Have had the opportunity to twist it up, put it in the sand and jump Mexican topes;) I will post up if we have any problems arise✌?

We decided to take our chances and see if we could get a vehicle permit for mainland Mex, figured it would only kill a day and we could continue to Baja if it didn’t work out. We crossed bridge 1 into Nuevo Laredo and the customs agents were not having it we were overweight and they turned us...

Yes, there is definitely a penalty versus a regular hightop. That said we squeezed it through some tight places with just a bunch of new pinstripes. All said I believe it is the best all around compromise for our wants.✌?

Rolled across the scales again today, full fuel, propane, all our sh#%, wife, dog, I and half a tank of water, 9,420lbs, pretty stoked on that. Think next summer I am going to mount water tanks on the frame and forward to move some of that weight up.

    E350 10ft Box Van

We had the truck inspected and re-titled as an RV in North Carolina. The new title will be issued as a Ford House Car. It was a fairly simple process and we were supposed to have the title back in three weeks, filed on Nov. 30. We learned today that since it started as an out of state title the...

    E350 10ft Box Van

I am not sure... the first couple of tank fulls with my box, empty and 2wd were 14.2-.8. My first two tank fulls as 4x4 and built out have been 11.2mpg. I was hoping to be able to average 10mpg fully loaded, and feel this is a realistic number. I absolutely love the 6r140 6spd. I would think 11...

The cab/chassis v8s do have the 5spd trans, and full float Dana 70 as well,(also no RSC) and had I found a clean/decent one would have picked one up,, I don’t plan on towing and was happy with the 5.4 in our last van, but not happy with the 4r75 trans. A newer box with the 6apd auto and 6.2l v8...
