Anyone using Cooper AT3 XLT tires?

Just upgraded the old Jeep to a low mile 2013 F150 FX4 that is finishing out its OEM Wrangler highway tires. Man they are like racing slicks in the mud. I'll be putting on either the AT3 XLTs or the ATP. I love the way it rides currently on the highway with the ST load tires, so I'm leaning...

    The Wife's '15 Ford F150 EcoBoost

Well, I jumped on the bandwagon, just a bit older wagon. Bought a low-mile '13 FX4 Supercrew with the 3.5EB this weekend. Loving it so far.

Just bought my way back into the full size thread...stock for now. I'll start upgrading after I find out how far stock will take me and what it needs to go further...

    Modified Grand Wagoneer reliability?

Having an older vehicle means taking more time to work on it to keep it as reliable as a brand new vehicle, but if you can put in the time and effort than it can be reliable. I've got a '97 GC and I fight the same mental battle all the time. A couple weeks ago I got frustrated and test drove a...

    The Wife's '15 Ford F150 EcoBoost

I just test drove the V8 version of that truck, but it was red and had 70k on it. Man, it was really nice. They are spec'd out very well and seem like a great place to spend time. Looks great in white, enjoy!

New Jeep Pick Up to be unveiled...The Gladiator

Looks awkward with the top on. Also, I notice in the shots where it's towing the old Grand Waggy that it's BIGGER THAN THE GRAND WAGONEER. Yikes.

    Ranger Raptor testing in Flagstaff

Saw some tidbits in a Ford sales associate's video that led me to this gem: AutoNews verifies Yakima partnership Basically, Ford will offer a slew of Yakima accessories INCLUDING THEIR RTTs and bed racks through the dealership so you can add them to the truck and just finance the total. It's...

New version of Gaia GPS released

Glad to hear you guys are bringing more to the table for us Android users. The app seems like the best bet going but it always seems more awkward than necessary when in use. I default back to RideWithGPS for route planning. It's a cycling app but its route planning interface on the web is easy...

Time to start shopping for a new (to me) vehicle...looking for your thoughts/suggestions!

At least here in the southeast, The Toyota tax is very much in effect on 4Runners, Tacomas, and Cruisers but the full size Tundra and Sequoia miss it. For a family of four I'd be looking for a Sequoia for sure. I have a ZJ Grand Cherokee, which was basically a slightly larger XJ with a lot of...

    Ranger Raptor testing in Flagstaff

This has kind of been my thought. Assuming they are about the same size as the Colorados, it means they are about the same size as the '69 F100 I had. When the Colorado first re-upped I had a photo of my Gen 2 Explorer parked next to it and the Colo was bigger but not by an astounding amount.

Upgrading to clutch fan, brand recommendations?

Once again, I'm back with more reports on fan clutches. Because this has become a thing. I did order an OEM Mopar fan clutch for my Jeep after buying the Severe Duty Four Seasons that stayed locked all the time. The OEM fan (list $200!!) looked identical to the $50 clutch with a different part...

    Ranger Raptor testing in Flagstaff

I spent some time building and pricing on the two models as well. It's hard to get a really comparable spec between the two because options packages are so different and there are so many more options available on the F150. I kept coming back to about $5k more for the 150 witht he spec matching...

i dont know jack ********. any help much appreciated.

$5k buys a Toyota truck that is in such bad shape it will likely give you all of the problems you were so scared of. $5k buys a different make (Ford, Chevy, Isuzu, etc) in much better condition that will only give you half of them. The older a vehicle, and the less you spend on it (usually)...

2nd Gen Armada's - Anybody doing anything yet?

Interested to see if anything turns up here. I really like the looks, and I've driven the Infinty version as a rental. It was great in town but didnt get anywhere fun. One of my coworkers just bought one and man, it is HUGE next to my ZJ!

    Overland Journal AT Tire Test

I bought the old AT3s just before the new release, apparently. I've been very happy with them on road and off, but I' m not too far past the first rotation. I was on trail ride with a guy running the new AT3 XLTs on a prepped 4Runner (bumpers, RTT, full kit) and he said he was very happy with...
