    They meet at the seams and are sealed/attached with 3m Marine Adhesive.

    Thanks! They are not water tight, two surfboards in bags on each side. We will be able to slide them in from the rear and lock the doors, will be a lot easier than crawling over the roof to strap them down and much more secure.

    I didn’t realize your box was separate already, thought you just wanted to open up the front wall. I would think keep the box as is and open up the pass through and seal it with a rubber boot....

    All is good. I spoke with the manufacturer of my box before removing the bulkhead and they assured me there wouldn’t be an issue. Plenty of boxes and e-series rv running around with an open pass-thru that I would assume you wouldn’t have a problem either, but????
