The Pro4x is great out of the box. Good balance of tech and gear and value. Definitely drive both he Tacoma and the Frontier, and buy they one you like best. The Frontier is less upfront, and tends to hold a higher percentage of its resale value then the Tacoma. But at the end of the day saving...
Thanks I am pretty happy with it as well. I bought it from Cap It in Cranbrook, they had it special ordered. It did come with a diamond plat tread for it, but I am not a fan of it. I am playing around with a few ideas, but so far I prefer the open look. Might just end up putting grip tape on the...
I found the Frontier to be pretty straight forward and simple, not as complicated as installing the OME in my brothers 4runner. Biggest thing is hit the bolts with deep creep or other penetrating fluid numerous times for days before you install.
That could be a mater of wording. Like calling out trucks midsize as opposed to compact. When I ordered mine as "medium" duty the other option was heavy duty so light should be the same thing.
As promised earlier here are some photos. The truck. It is dirty. The front bumper I have not tackled yet. Still deciding between painting it to match or leaving it black.

For me it was because it was cheaper. When I bought mine the Canadian dollar took a dive. I was able to sell my used truck for more in the us before exchange rate, then I was asking locally. Then used Frontiers, less then 3 years old and low km, were the same price as what I bought my new one...
Not this post again. I have seen this post since 2015, Every year it is the same photo of the Navara, with the same wording. Unless Nissan has announced it, I won't believe it.
My 2015 Pro4x has 35k km on it. Only issues so far have been a rear pinion seal leak sunroof that wouldn't close the day I brought it home, and a squeak in the dash. The sunroof has a learn procedure and when my dad bought his 2015 Pro4X after mine he had the same issue. The squeak in the dash...
Should have some pics up when I get the cover panel made, the piece of wood I am using right now is way to ghetto. The Hefty Sliders with the ARB rear look great.
It did everything I wanted in one bumper. It raised the receiver hitch height by almost 2", offers protection for the rear quarters...
I managed to mount the rear ARB bumper, although the rear fill panel is back ordered. It gave me almost 2" in rear clearance as the the trailer hitch now sits higher, so that was a huge advantage. A local shop was able to cut a piece of Aluminium to size for $30 so now I just need to drill and...
