Nice ride! Love seeing your work. And seeing the first gens getting some love. Wanna dig into my dash? :)
I do have to agree, id think the bumps would bend the heck outta that control. arm. Maybe its double sleeved?
Working too much, but did get a chance to continue on the wiring project a lil bit.
Drilled a nice hole in my roof :Wow1: But then sealed it up quite well using a product i love, the Scanstrut deck seal. marine sailing product...
All the mods, a scanguage will become your new best friend. Almost could guarantee you it was caused by a simple overstretch of the vsc lines off the uca to the spindle if you didn't disconnect them on install.
Slipped this guy onto the front of the roof . Now I've got some wind whistle at speed. Need to try a few little adjustments to see if it can be resolved. Not Horrid, just can hear it whistling with the sunroof open. Think its coming from under the rack at front dam so I'm going to slip a...
Finally getting around to shaping a mounting plate for my Bussman RTMR fuse/relay boxl and circuit breakers/fuse holders. Fabbed outta some .12 alum. diamond plate i had sitting around Turned out good and has plenty of room to add mas electrical to later. ***** to cut out the bussman, ill tell...
Would not think either of those would be my first choices if i was not spending much time on dirt. Unless your just going for the looks and you've got no problem wearing out a set of tires to get it.
At the very most, a solid AT will do you plenty, if not even overkill.
The ST is a mud tire...
Same, there was a GB on T4R at end of 2016. Think it was $175 shipped? Like it, considering any other similar options -it is solid and functional, works with the Prinsu.
Scored a Prinsu Design Studios roofrack at a good price from a Group Buy.

Lightweight, sturdy, flat, very modular, but my favorite design feature is its sleek low profile style.
Took awhile to arrive (months), but showed up undamaged by UPS and the install was...
The sun is out and days are longer!!! Yay.
Nice to not have to blast down to the high deserts for dry trails!
Local fire roads are getting fun again. Ridiculous snowpack this year in the E. Sierras. Still completely inaccessible at higher elevations, but lower in the valleys its starting to...
Its Cute!
I could see it a very successful lil snow country commuter vehicle, or 1st car for my daughter (if its priced below $10K) to bounce to college in. Great for the City folk to tour the rough countryside around them.
Shoot me a PM before you guys are headed up. Id love to go for a cruz. Lots of places to go, this year will have many limitations on trail selection due to snow. Higher altitude trails, along the Sierras specifically, in June will likely still be completely covered. But the Whites, Glass...
We had a couple great weeks of spring, but Winter is back at it.
Skiing has be PHENOMENAL!!!!!
Escaped to baja for a few days of camping in Early March
and a tour of Death Valley North.
Neither in the 4runner :)
Was able to get a Gobi ladder mounted up just as the...
Id say about the same. It really depends on how loose you want to get. And changes with the conditions to a certain degree.
If your going to be spinning donuts or really pushing thru corners, you don't want to be aired down too much or you can pull a tire bead off the wheel. But- going...
