    Baja; a solo

Congrats on a great trip Jeremy! They have been working on the road from Puertocitos to Gonzaga for quite some time now... The big question will be whether or not they actually complete ALL of the road. Sounds like we just missed each other. We got home on the 20th. It would have been...

    Introduction/Certification/Experience Thread

As an instructor for the local CERT program I can say it is a great program to get involved with. If your local area has one, you should sign up and get involved. You won't regret the decision.

Overland Training: Educating the Adventure Traveler

Scott, This sounds REALLY cool! Couple of questions... Do you have to take the modules in order? i.e. Are they prerequisites for each other? Any plan in the future to try and have these classes accredited through a local college? Now I just have to try and get time off...

    Sankey --- following a Landcruiser

I was able to source the hub seals from a Land Rover Parts source in the UK. http://www.lrseries.com/ :wings: They will be coming via, in your best Thurston Howell III voice, "the royal air mail." Now my only problem is I am having Land Rover lust, after looking...

    Sankey --- following a Landcruiser

Just a quick update... I also ordered some new shocks, Rancho RS9119, which were on clearance from Man-a-fre. These are the 5-way adjustable model. The old shocks were/are so bad, that I compressed one to measure it, and it still hasn't rebounded back. Ha! I have the new bearings and and...

You might as well just trade me your Troopy for my 80. Don't worry, all your doubt, will soon fade away... Once you get to walk out the door everyday to that beautiful rig... Add to that when you get to DRIVE the Troopy on a regular, if not daily basis...

Does a canoe count as a vehicle modification?

Brian, Congrats!!! I will let you count it as a modification if I can count surfboards as a mod too. She looks good though! I love those older wooden ones, they are almost too pretty to put in the water (almost). Good luck with the resto! This will be great for the girls to gain...

My m416 finally finished - and unveiled! (not 56k-friendly)

The trailer looks good. I was wondering where that went. Question... what is the size of tubing/metal that forms the lid attachment to the trailer? How is it attached to the trailer? Is it welded or bolted? Or? What is the lid made from? Do you have a "seal" around the lip to keep...
