Nothing like bringing up the old...
That fine cruiser belongs to Mudrak. He owns a shop up in Central Cali, Sac area or something...

He is over at ih8mud.com too.
BTW, good luck on your trip.
Congrats on a great trip Jeremy!
They have been working on the road from Puertocitos to Gonzaga for quite some time now... The big question will be whether or not they actually complete ALL of the road.
Sounds like we just missed each other. We got home on the 20th. It would have been...
As an instructor for the local CERT program I can say it is a great program to get involved with. If your local area has one, you should sign up and get involved. You won't regret the decision.
They look good Wil!
You will like the tires, mine just endured another trip to Baja and back without any problems.
BTW... I dig the VW emblem on the back wall.

I work for the San Diego Fire Rescue Department, as a Lifeguard. I work year-round and have been on for fifteen years. Been an EMT for about twelve.
Currently work out of our boating unit headquartered on Mission Bay where we handle surf-rescue, marine fire, vessel tows, sinking vessels...
Scott,
This sounds REALLY cool!
Couple of questions...
Do you have to take the modules in order? i.e. Are they prerequisites for each other?
Any plan in the future to try and have these classes accredited through a local college?

Just a quick update...

I have the new bearings and and...
Congrats Chuck! I know you had been trying to sell the pig, is the pig staying on the island? Or coming to the mainland?
As others have mentioned you will be much better off in the long run with the decisions made.
You might as well just trade me your Troopy for my 80.
Don't worry, all your doubt, will soon fade away... Once you get to walk out the door everyday to that beautiful rig... Add to that when you get to DRIVE the Troopy on a regular, if not daily basis...
Brian,
Congrats!!! I will let you count it as a modification if I can count surfboards as a mod too. She looks good though! I love those older wooden ones, they are almost too pretty to put in the water (almost). Good luck with the resto!
This will be great for the girls to gain...
The trailer looks good. I was wondering where that went.
Question... what is the size of tubing/metal that forms the lid attachment to the trailer? How is it attached to the trailer? Is it welded or bolted? Or?
What is the lid made from? Do you have a "seal" around the lip to keep...
