The dash and console lights are plenty bright in red. The Map, Passenger, Cargo and Door Courtesy lights in red seem dimmer than the light I'd imagine white LEDs would produce (I actually ended up wiring additional white LEDs in my interior for this reason).

nwoods, sorry it didn't go very smoothly...well, at least you won't have any more no-starts due to the alarm. I remember the hood and gas filler door releases being tricky to get aligned and reconnected properly. I'll have a look under the dash tomorrow to see if I can come up with some...
No damage done. Make sure you use heat and a plastic scraper (not metal) of some sort to get behind the wood to work/finesse it off. I used a plastic trim removal tool. There will be some residue left, just go at it with your scraper.
