Paint it whatever color tickles your fancy. If you are afraid of offending the Rover crowd, refer to it as "industrial earth mover" paint and not Sandglow. I don't think heavy equipment owners or operators will object to your choice of paint hue. :coffeedrink:

:iagree: Knock off...where is the line? The MaxTrax product is hunks of molded plastic. If these "knock offs" are an inch narrower or 4 inches longer is the function different? Many of us (read vast majority) won't use this sort of product often enough to tie up a bunch of money in these...

Your criteria may be able to be addressed with a 1000W Honda Generator. It won't add complexity or failure points to your systems and won't take up perminant space or add perminant weight. Seems to address your occasional need for base camping. If it doesn't satisfy you, the resale value of...

Valid concern depending on where you are camping. In Florida, I quit camping anywhere but on the beaches between June and September. It is just too darned muggy without a breeze off the water. My pride wouldn't stop me from running the air conditioner in my toy hauler if I was an ATV...
