Tank - not hard to find a beer or welding supply shop in any town to refill. A 10 lb. tank last a long time and give me flexibility to move between rigs.
I have mine mounted on a rack over my softopper, similar set up to a fiberglass topper. I went this route to have more space for dogs and gear in the bed and under the topper/tent. The awning is also at a height were we don't need to crouch at all. I don't notice much of a difference in mileage...
I just bought the rocky road (they're running a shipping special) and they are beefy. Seems like their old design caught some flack but this new design is bomber. Hoping to put them on next week sometime. They're pretty heavy.
I use the upper rack you have posted there. It's from US Rack I believe it's called the CapRack. I cut mine down about 3.5" and wish I did about 5" as it sits super high over the Softopper and I don't ever take my Softopper down. It supports a fly rod box, RTT and awning. I have the Decked...
Curious is anyone has removed the smaller single seat out of their tundra double cab in order to mount a fridge in its location. Will the remainder of the bench still be able to mount properly with the single removed?
