bumpstops is what you need unless you want a hacked up looking KJ with 32s you'll need 3 hockey pucks per side for 30s-31s 2 per side

    Liberty Expedition Rig

So your springs were sagged out to begin with, and you're only sitting an inch over new stock height ( which is 19 inches after March 2003) So although you installed a 2 inch kit you're not close to 2 inches of lift

Measure from the middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare and let us know where you 're sitting at The Rustys airtube is OK but I had one back in 04 and after a few months tossed it in the garbage If you're looking at front UCAs there only one place that has good ones JBA, don't get sucked...

Too bad you've already installed that Daystar lift something that is 10 years old its not going to last long on the old springs and shocks I did the rear seat delete at one time, and built a flat platform back there to sleep on, worked great Oh and you can lift the KJ higher than 2 inches...

I shall call him... "Mini Me" (2005 Jeep Liberty KJ)

I would stay away from the "Rocky Road junk", with theirs it requires you drill through the UCA to bolt it on, not a good setup at all. The teraflex are just about the same as stock and easy to replace.

Poly , they work great and will help keep the front shocks lasting a while longer can order from teraflex or from jeepinbyal

Good luck with that lift, make sure you get some Teraflex bumpstops in the front, it will help it last a little bit longer.

Best overall tire suited for Overlanding/Expo?

I have over 37,000 on a set of 265-75-16 Duratracs , been through two winters so far, mud, rain etc and overall a great tire. Had BFG ATs before and these are twice the tire as far as snow goes, been places in two wheel drive that the BFGs would of had to been locked in. When this set goes...

IFS - who has experiance with OMU or AEV shock/springssystems for your Liberty? I am

My first OME lift lasted 100,000 miles ( and is actually on another KJ now) with only a slight adjustment needed to compensate for some sag over that time. This was also with an ARB front bumper. I now have over 45,000 on the second lift which I am using OME springs again but some other parts...

    Overlanding/Expeditiion 2011 Liberty project -

Build it and have fun, half of 4 wheeling is the building process. You'll be surprised at what the KJs and KKs can do. Mines been wheeled since day one, has over 163,000 on it now , been lifted over 140,000 miles of that. Stared out I was going to keep it stock, that lasted 2 months ha ha Friend...
