I usually tell people it's to hold the ARB bumper up, but RoundOut is right.
I install them whenever I'm running trails in dense forests or when I think I might need them.
Mine smelled too (strong plastic smell) when I first got mine from Paul, but after I rinsed them a few times and let them air dry, they have been fine ever since.
I love these water cans. Water has no plastic taste either.
I think it's probably just a smell that's there from the factory and...
I just meant that I didn't know what the weight rating of the lid is, given that it's got the rack and the tent already, plus adding 50-80lbs per kayak. So, really I was just pointing it out as a question to have answered. My guess is that it could handle it easily; however, I dont' have any...
You can put a kayak on top of your roof rack. See mine. My kayak is a 15' footer and weighs in around 70lbs.
As for putting it on top of your RTT/Trailer combo, I would think 3 straps would be plenty. One in the front, one in the rear, and one in the middle (I run it through the handles for...
Get Well Soon
Get well so that you can finish the install.
Bumper looks good, really good.
Those LightForce 240's are crazy. I think you could get an instant tan :sunny: from them, okay maybe not instant, but 5 seconds?
Also, how are you going to overcome the wind resistance of those...
More Pictures
Any more pictures? :jumping:
How does the drain fit, is there a tube or something that takes the waste water away from or under the trailer?

Even if they are able to produce these, QA is probably non existent, as well as support.
Even if labor and materials are cheap oversees, I would think the cost of getting them here would be pretty high.
I think it's a...
Right on target Pierre. :REOutArchery02: I'm in awe of your talent and creativity. Once day I may be able to use the force like you and Willman.
Looking sweet.
Now get back to work.
I'm anxious to see the final product. :jumping:

It's good that you confronted them. The whole thing, (now knowing exactly what they did), was quite scary.
Being wildy drunk and behind the wheel or carrying a loaded weapon are extremely dangerous. Doing all three at the same time?:smileeek: So many things could've gone wrong.
Even if the...
Thanks, Brad, for the quick feedback. I know you've got some experience towing that beast all over the place.
Sorry folks for the double post...I should've done a better job searching before posting.
I need some advice on a trailer brake controller. I believe that I would be best served by a proportional/ inertial controller. From what I understand these apply matching pressure on the trailer brakes so that the trailer more or less slows down at the same rate as the vehicle making for...
