    Dual Batteries

the commander has a 160 amp alternator. the commanders that came with the 3.7L V6 have a towing option add on that uses this option. i think it would probably bolt right up to your motor as well. i have the 160 amp alternator and a yellow top on my commander with a V8. i never have charging...

    2 heavy ?

i think it depends on how much weight you are carrying. i have a 5500 lbs commander on 255/75/17 mud km's load range C. they have about 1/4 tread left after 2 years and 40K miles. you'll have to just air down your tires more off road for a better ride.

    Smittybuilt Winch

i had to replace the whole remote twice. when i pulled the chip it messed up the prong on the chip. i've pretty much decided i didn't care about the wireless control. i'll probably just rig up something so i can run the winch from inside the cab.

    Smittybuilt Winch

i have a T-Max 9000 lbs. i've been using it for 2 years now. i must say i am very impressed with it. the only problem i have is the wireless controller doesn't work. but i can live without it. other then that the winch has been great.

    Skid Plates

you should be able to weld without dropping the skid from the tank if you keep the heat down and weld in short bursts, just let them cool down or use a wet rag on the welds to quench the heat. make sure you fuel tank is full before you start. the fuel will help absorb the heat as well keeping...

    Built some Storage

i built myself some storage about a year ago out of 12 gauge sheet metal. it worked okay, but it was heavy (100+ lbs) and to get inside to get something out you had to take everything out to get inside the compartment. OLD:
