The factory brakes are for 2 wheel drive. They mount to the back of the transmission, not the transfer case. They are around 1K used. Too expensive if I have to make many modifications to get it to work.
Thanks! Unfortunately I've been chained to my desk for too long working on the magazine. I haven't even shot a race for months. I had a free day 2 weeks ago so I decided to mount up some tires to my beadlocks. I got three tires swapped, and went to put the 2 newest ones on the front of the F350...
That sounds just like my 85 trooper 2 with a gas motor. The gas motors had an oil drain back holes in the pistons that are too small. They clog, stick the rings, and then cause excessive smoke out the tailpipe.
Hello Paul. I have problems on my property with pack rats; they are the worst. I've had some luck with traps. I don't bait the trap. I put peanut butter right on the catch for the spring loaded bar.
Have you tried STEEL-IT? It's a stainless steel paint that when applied to bare metal allows you to weld through it. It's super durable. It comes in grey, and black. I sprayed it over chrome and it's held up beautifully. https://www.steel-it.com/automotive-applications-of-steel-it-5
Anyone recognize the truck on the cover?

I was talking to another Expo member when the magazine came up and I guess I forgot to post a link to the last issue. We have another coming soon too. It's a lot of work, but hopefully it will pay off eventually. I would love to get more overlanding content. Busy making things happen on that...
It was super easy to assemble, and mount. It literally took 5 minutes to hook it all up. https://visionxoffroad.com/collections/unite-modular-led-light-bar-system/products/unite-modular-led-light-bar-custom-builder
I know I'm going to get the "This post is worthless without photos," but I swear I was just unable to break out the phone while I was working. I built a frame to mount 4 solar panels that will be going on the roof rack I also made on top of the Van. I will get some photos, I promise. After...
What about flat tires? I'm trying to stay positive but 2 in 2 days? Not only do I have to drive the van down to my storage, but I have to take apart, and then build 2 beadlocks. I can feel my hands buzzing already.
It's a shrub that grows everywhere in the desert southwest. They are like blades of grass on the prairie. https://www.saguaro-juniper.com/i_and_i/treesNshrubs/creosotebush/creosotebush.html
