Just picked up a ctek 7002, and plugged it in today on my trailer while it's parked to perk up the battery. I plugged it in and it quickly moved to the third light, but then makes a relay clicking nose every thirty seconds or so. Is this normal? What's going on? No indication of a fault or any...

My guess, valve cover gaskets. Known issue.

If the budget allows, a 2010+ had some advantages (more power, redesigned inner fenders that don't tear, stronger rear end, etc). Make sure you get one that has a rear locker (it was a cheap option when new, most have them). They are generally strong and reliable.

For those that have a roll out awning (arb, etc), what length did you choose? Also, I have the "prorack" rack system that many of you do, and I was wondering what t-bolts you used? I cant find any information about what t-bolts fit our prorack crossbars?

Look at what goose gear is doing with aluminum extrusions... very similar... and people seem to enthusiastically (over) pay for them...
