Why I switched from a Tacoma to an F150

Interesting e-moto!!!! Nicely done on the f150. Love my 19 but really like the idea of the gen set! Hard to beat that set up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Ducati Desert X.

Good effort by them. Looks like it can compete in the desert, though not sure about competing in technical stuff. I am a big fan of KTMs off road. They are at the top of the game in suspension tuning and fueling/throttle response off road. KTMs aren’t like Honda reliable but they are far ahead...

    Any F150 hybrid owners?

I have a 2019 with just the standard eco boost but I am very interested in this model. Especially in SFL with the 7.2kw to power my ac during hurricanes. Much better than keeping a generator around. So you guys do the real world testing for me!

Nice! Just curious, on a trip using the electric just as an assist for accelerating how long does it last?

    F150 - 2.7L vs 3.5L vs 5.0L

My 2019 3.5 eb sport f150 4wd came with 3.55s and locking rear with the tow package. I really don’t understand the fuelly ratings for the 3.5 eb unless they are working the hell out of it towing and hauling. I have averaged 22 over the first 25k miles. I get 21 mpg at 85 and not towing. If those...

Why so many negative YouTube videos about RTTs?

I would consider one on a medium height rack in the bed of my f150 as long as it stayed below cab height when down. I guess that wouldn’t really be a RTT then? I have a Jku and I would not put a rtt on it unless it was a Ursula. I can sleep inside and don’t add a bunch of weight or raise the...

    Kenda Klever R/T

Well I do have them. About 5k on my jku. 35x10.5. Very very quiet, no noticeable wear so far. No serious off road but miles of 3-4” mud on dirt roads. Very nice. I got them for the narrow aspect and because they have excellent reviews on the wrangler forums from people who actually have them...

recap: Mods I wouldn`t do again for overlanding

Weight is certainly the most overlooked aspect of overlanding. I am in the wrangler community and. I am amazed how many people immediately put the vehicle over the gvwr. Steel bumpers, winch, roof rack, big tires and you are overweight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Minimum Equipment List JKU

100% on the code reader. I like the OBD JScan app for the phone also. Allows you to set up drls, tire size, code reader, etc and read anything the OBD can.

    America’s Great Continental Divide

And just like that it is over! Not very far into Canada. Was it worth the Canadian visit other than for completion? Thanks again for posting your trip. It would make a good guide for someone in the future. Will you do a wrap up and lessons learned post? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    America’s Great Continental Divide

Thank you for continuing the story! It is great to see the pics and follow your journey. It didn’t appear to be as crowded as I expected this summer to be or did you just manage to avoid everything? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I own a 2013 jku and I do love Jeep’s. I can see why they did this and the demand for them is pretty amazing. This fills the need for the mall-crawlers and instagram babies. I think it’s their biggest selling model. Certainly not ground breaking or even an option for oberlanders until the...
