I did a spring over to match my jeep height. Rebuilt the axle and was able to get the brakes to work. When you do a springover also spin the axle 180 and the brakes will work.

I got a box from Harbor Freight for $100. Mounted it on tongue on top of a couple pieces of 1"x1" to clear the casting. Moved it forward to clear the brake.
I am pretty sure that they did not. I am at Overland Expo in AZ and AT is here and I talked to them and it does not look to be on the drawing board right now but who knows. Maybe they will change their mind.
The final lid looks great. Your M416 is way ahead of mine but I am following the same path with the frame, axle, SOA, and wiring completed. I am waiting until my lid is finished before I paint. Mine is being used to go back and forth to my hunting lease in AR.
Adam and Kendall @ Tribe 4x4 are ready to start looking at putting some of these lids together but in order to get material and labor pricing they need to get some idea of serious interest.
