Make sure the vibrations are caused by the spacers and not something else. Can start by removing the spacers and see if the vibes go away. Also check that the tires are balanced. Vibes at those speeds are commonly driveshaft vibrations so you might check that. Of course, make sure that the...
No if ands or buts about it you'll have a much better quality tent with the used CVT. I'd never buy a Smittybuilt tent no matter the cost. From my experience, the ones that rave about the Smittybuilt tents don't have experience with other quality brands.
I've had two sets of Spidertrax spacers. 1.25" ones on my Tacoma and 1.5" ones on my Cruiser. Spidertrax seems to have some proven reliability with very few failures (none that I'm aware of) when they are set up correctly. Make sure they are torqued correctly and use red Loctite. Check the...
You might contact Paul May at Equipt. He is about 6'4" and drives a 200 series. Doesn't seem to have any complaints about fitting. The 200 is such a nice car!

They are very similar but the CVT will be slightly heavier because of additional material like the clear windows (which will get hazy over time) in the rainfly etc. But the difference will be minimal in weight. No real distinguishable difference in cold weather either. Add a Tepui Weatherhood...
The footprint of the XL (closed) is 4x6' so as long as you have space on your rack for that behind the basket on the ARB it will work. It's also possible to have some of the tent extend over the end of the rack.
On the way home one of my rear brake pads shattered and came out of the caliper, leaving only the backing shim. The pads were not worn out so it was a bit of a surprise. Didn't see it until I got home. Didn't hear it over the noise of the truck. Destroyed the rotor and the caliper. Got it...
This was two weekends ago. Just haven't had a chance to post any here. I've been prerunning routes for the 4xOverlandUSA Southwest Adventure 2017. Found some really cool areas that I think will be great. Need to make some tweaks to the route in a few sections and then go prerun again. For...
