Buddy you’re not the only one. I was always afraid of speaking what your saying because I LOVE this forum and did not want to be ostracized. I've gained some much knowledge from people like you that I'm here every day. I remember the day that when I went to AT's shop and spoke with Mario and he...
Hahahaha .....I actually thought of that. I was looking at McMaster Carr
http://www.mcmaster.com/#suction-cups/=6sdgtz
So I would assume that each cup will hold the shown load capacity???
That’s awesome.
Although I remember the Olivers have a full ladderbox frame. The Casitas don't. I think the frame would have to be significantly beefed up on the Casita.

The Olivers are super nice but about $25K......ouch.
In all honsety with out sounding like a paranoid freko, I want a rig I can drive lets say, after an EMP goes off (Sorry been reading One Second After). But mainly just want to get a back to basics rig that I can work on.
I wish my friend. Trust me I wish I could but they are as rare has hens teeth her in the good old state of Culifornia (sorry bad Arnie impression voice).
How on gods green earth can I type in a set of coordinates in MapSource (PC/Win Vista) and set it as a way point. The help doesn't help.....so please help me:mad:
A smog computer? Wow I thought it would only
be a smog pump. I'm really looking for
a system that has zero micro circitry.
Ala a system as simple a be but in a Toyota.
So my thought is that older Toyotas run an
ignition coil and a carburator. No computer to run
FI and such.
Does that make...
Hey all I need to tap into everyones wealth of knowledge and
ask what years Toyota pickups DO NOT have computers?
I want to get an 80 thru 84 but want it as basic as possible.
I'm assuming that with a carb and a distributer cap I'll
be ok?
Please educate me. And pardon my ingnorance! :)
Sure Ill post some pics but It'll have to wait till next week when I take the Casita out for her maiden dirt voyage.
My Hundy suspension wise is OME Nitro Sports all around with OME T-bars and 864's on the rear. With the lift on the Casita they together sit almost level. I need to get a new 1"...
I re-reading some of this thread I looked into doing I think the same thing your talking about here to the Scamp I just sold.
I was about to pull the trigger until I got a final cost. I can't weld to save my life so to get this done was about $1800 in material and about $2500 in labor. I just...
Yes I got it thanks for the info. I will plan on doing that mod for sure.
In regards to the cracks I was thinking of supporting the cabinets from the counter top up. Like they are in the Scamps. They are kinda hooky un unfinished looking but may give enough to not pull on the rivets. On the...
Hahahaha...love it porta-potty on wheels. But I bet they were all jealous of the shower/hot water, ac, heat...the list goes on.
My over all plan is not to drag it though trails for long expeditions, more of take down a fire trial or dirt road and set up as base camp.
And nice base camp for...

Cracking of the fiberglass is a concern but I’m hoping to mitigate it by airing down as much as I can to help with the stresses. That's another reason why I went with bfg's the triple side walls should help support the weight.
I took the Casita to the local truck scale and fully loaded with...
Replaced my axle on my Casita Trailer and the only one is in the way. So who ever wants it come and get it. I also have the 14" rims with 205/75-14" tires.
The axle is and Ez-lube and it measure 66" hub face to hub face on a 10degree up angle.
