Brutus - 2016 Tundra TRD Pro

P&P Engineering Rock Sliders Just got back a couple days ago from P&P Engineering with a set of prototype sliders for a crew max. These things are stout as hell and can't wait for the paint to cure to go try them out. The mounting is different from anything that i've seen in the Yota...

Maxtrax vs TRED vs Tracmats vs X-Trax vs X-Jack

We used the MAXSA boards for 4-5 recoveries on one trip and they did a great job. Still in good working condition. We've even had the flex out to an "L" shape and spring right back. The biggest problem with them is that they dont next..so no bridging capabilities.

Brutus - 2016 Tundra TRD Pro

Badlands ORP Finally got the Cooper STT Pros out to play this past weekend at the Badlands ORP in Attica, IN. We are hitting up the White Rim Trial and Moab up in April, so I figured it was time to get some offroad time in. I was running at 35psi on the streets, so I aired down to 22psi for...

    Gordigear RTT Adventure

Thanks for the update! Might think about editing the OP and changing the title thread since we went from a nightmare to more of a hiccup. I'm in the market for an RTT for our upcoming Moab trip and this thread makes me want to give @gordigear a look from their responses.

Brutus - 2016 Tundra TRD Pro

The spacers worked well @mlmeans. Everything cleared just fine without them, but I get into enough offroad situations that I didn't want to take a chance with the knobby STT Pros coming into contact with the UCA. Before I couldn't get a finger through, not I can get my entire hand through.

Reata's 2016 Tundra TRD Pro Build

Im digging that bumper. I didnt really want one with hoops, but with those hoops I could set up limb guards to a rack. Might have to look into that as a future purchase for my TRD Pro.

    Why are Sequoia's not included?

The entire Tundra platform is left out, but this is where we still post. Just like how the full size domestic section leaves out Dodge, its just a name. Technically we could post in the full size domestic since we are built in the good ol' USA ;)

    Suspension help- 2015 tundra

You have a lot of options available to you. I like the OME kit myself. Another solid option you could look at for a mild lift/suspension is the ToyTec Boss kit. Another option would be to find a TRD Pro owner that's put on a new lift to get take offs. ToyTec Boss kit ToyTec Ultimate Kit Fox...

So, I have found a lead on a 2005 F350 dually rolling chassis. The guy will sell it to me for $2000. Includes the D60 front, D80 rear, and wheels/tires from the setup. Would this be worthwhile? I know @underdrive mentioned 2005+ setup and having a lots of pros (coils, stronger axles, etc)...

Brutus - 2016 Tundra TRD Pro

Went to visit family camping for the holiday weekend. Found a lot of 1st gen Tundras at the campground. There were four of them camping around my parents alone. I decided to park next to one on the way out of the park for a quick snapshot. Even though I know this new gen isn't dimensionally...

Brutus - 2016 Tundra TRD Pro

Well, it's been awhile since I updated this thread. I've had the truck for 9 months now and i've put over 12,000 miles on it. Been on a few trips throughout the midwest and southern states. Been through the Hoosier National Forest a dozen or so times, Daniel Boone National forest, Land...

Haven't had the chance to get it in the dirt yet, but we just picked my wife up a 2016 TRD Pro 4Runner to match my truck this past weekend. It was her mothers day gift (mom to be due in a couple of weeks). I'm pretty excited to get this on the dirt and have some fun with it. My Tundra is...

    MWO - Project "Ambo" 1991 F350

Got the ambo out yesterday. We were able to get the OD shut off and stay off and the truck drove 100% better up and down the hills. Not really sure why it engaged again after shutting off last time. We were able to cruise up and down hills at 55mph without any issues.

Pickup truck guys... critique my setup...

Whats your thoughts on it so far? It really want that system, but wasn't sure it'd fit with a Decked system. I see in your sig that you run a decked box as well. Any modification to make the two fit together?

I have no interest in doing an engine swap. If I were to do a swap it'd be for a Powerstroke, but again no interest there. I've always wanted a diesel and now I have it :) I would love to get this weighed just to see what I'm working with. 9400lb isn't bad at all...I was expecting something...
