    The Tents+Tread Bronco Buildout

Awesome score! What’s the story on finding it? I’ve heard they were not even producing Wildtraks yet? I’m assuming you found it for sale somewhere and it was not one you ordered?

    Mechanic's take on Ford Bronco

So as usual then, the dealers don’t know Jack ******** about what is really going on. I wonder how they will end up pricing the hard tops? I will likely order the soft top one and see if I can swap to a hardtop before production. I may just do the factory tow package as I WILL be towing with it...

I could <possibly> live with the soft top, but I don’t think the wife would want to, and she would drive it as much as me,or more...

    New Bronco

I’m coming up with $6k because I want the 2.7 auto and Squatch. I’m in Canada. The B&P is accurate as I’ve had both confirmed by dealer. If the hardtop is 14 months out, it isn’t going to happen. Not waiting that long. Ford better get their ******** together on that. Not anticipating a high...

    New Bronco

I talked to my dealer again yesterday, and they said if I went BadSquatch, I’d be 5-6 months out, and I was also considering a Wildtrak as it’s $6,000 cheaper with similar spec. I don’t need the goat or front axle disco. I’ve been off-roading for close over 40 years and haven’t needed any...

    Upland Hunting - General

I have been missing out I see. Not paying attention to the dark corners of ExPo. I have 2 Weimaraners and we had an epic season this year. Lots of birds around in my “spot”. We primarily chase ruffed grouse, but got on some blues as well. Went to Alberta to chase sharptails, but access...

    New Bronco

I only said that because you are, in my experience, one of the smarter posters on ExPo. A dozen years ago, this place was full of actual backcountry travelers, now it is full of “soft roaders” (whatever THAT is) and people that think driving to their local state park is “Overlanding”. Today...

    Mechanic's take on Ford Bronco

That’s good to hear. They are delivering hardtop rigs with soft tops now (at least in my area), with a “you’ll get your hard top asap note. I’m still hearing that tow packages are delaying production on orders. I want to be able to tow with mine, but I’m sure Reese or Curt will have a class...

    Mechanic's take on Ford Bronco

Most people are easily confused, and the Bronco “Sport” has as much to do with the new Bronco as the Bronco ll did with the OBS Broncos. I agree they should not have used the same name at all. Obviously they were hoping to catch some “cute-ute” buyers with the name recognition.

    New Bronco

Possibly the dumbest post ever from you. You are usually much more astute. I don’t think the new Bronco is remotely in danger of depreciating rapidly. Even that retro turd “FJ” “Cruiser” has somehow managed to hold value really well, and they were anaemic mini vans. Comparing a twin turbo...

    New Bronco

I’m looking at doing an order. The BL ‘Squatch or Wildtrak. The initial thought was the Badlands with Squatch, but I did a build and price on a Wildtrak with the same options and it was $6,000 cheaper for the Wildtrak. What are you NOT getting in the WT that you do get with the BL Squatch?

Another 100 series, my first Toyota

Nice rig! The joke is on you though... 100 series are some of the quietest 4x4s on the planet. And for a MT, Toyos are also very quiet. Your sound mat will help, but I doubt it make much difference over stock.

Damn Blake, I wish I would’ve known you were going to sell that flat bed. I would have bought it. Curious to see the new one though. Joe, we should have a CF meet up soon. Not sure if any of the irregular folks are still game, aside from Smokin Joe...

    Advice Picking out Truck/Camper Combo

I on the other hand drive some of the gnarliest FSRs (forest service roads) in the PNW at breakneck speeds with my rig. The Hurley River Rd is an example of one that is notorious for killing tires. There is no other reason to explain TWO tire shops in Gold Bridge. A town of maybe 100 people...
