Looking at a new Dodge, help me decide!!! (Power Wagon vs Cummins)

A bit off topic, but I finally did some tire size comparisons. All 37x12.5/17 on 8.5 wide wheels Left, new GY MTRK, with weight of the jeep on the tire, bought July 2013 Middle, new GY MTR old style' bought in 2009 as a spare then was going to run them when the KMs wore out. GY changed right...

Jeep JK spring options... I need some input.

Front bumper is a hacked up mopar bumper made into a stubby with a winch. I still have some work to do on it to get it to the final stage. Back bumper is a piece of aluminum channel with an AEV tire carrier with a 37 on it. So somewhat light, but was surprised about the amount of lift...

Jeep JK spring options... I need some input.

I decided to get the poly 2" springs Installed them today, 4" of lift. I guess I run a light weight jeep. Hoping they will settle some.

    What Wheels Are These?

Yep, h2s To trim the hub hole to fit a dodge you can just remove a small 1/8 by 1/8 lip on the inside of the hub. Close up pic of mine

Not going to get the tire comparison done this weekend, life got in the way. Ok, a jeep trip and a beer festival tomorrow. Next weekend.

Looking at a new Dodge, help me decide!!! (Power Wagon vs Cummins)

No grinding for the free spin kit. The only issue I had was the ujoints. The kit used the AAM ujoint, not a standard d60 joint. I was sent the wrong joints, based on what the vender knew. Not a huge deal, just another week of delay. As for the tire problem, a couple options. Buy an air...

JK Wrangler home built expedition bumper

I'm contemplating the AEV winch mount to fit a winch on the front of mine, when I get around to building a front bumper like this.

I converted my front axle to with the dynatrac free spin kit. Quite a bit of work, but I am happy with it. I needed to do ball joints and stuff, so while I was at it...

Thanks for the complements. For reference my truck has the Lorenz 2.5 suspension package. SAW 2.5" resivour shocks all around. I went round and round back in 05 when I did the suspension. No regrets. Looks like he is not doing the same setup any more. Thinking thuren might be my choice now...

I've been considering the Toyos for my next tire. I am also a bit concerned with the width and rubbing, have not done it yet. I use to put a good 12k a year on the truck and the BFGs have served me well. Mine on old school BFG mt 37/12.5/17s, on H2 wheels, 17/8.5. I also ran some weld...

Jeep JK spring options... I need some input.

Interested to hear about your spring results with the synergy springs. From what I have seen from other mfgs is more lift than desird. They are trying to design to heavier rigs, I get that.people are usually not upset with more lift than not what was advertised. A couple metal cloak rigs I...
