An item that I would never have thought about, but wish everyone had was dust lights. The snow was so light and wispy that huge clouds obscured your vision on the highways, mainly as trucks passed or if you ran up on one, bunching cars up.
What am awesome experience. Can't wait to do it again. Dempster and Dalton within 3 days. Ice roads, Tuk, ice slalom racing, incredible scenery, great people. Sub-Zero temps for over a week. So much to process.

The only downside to OEM rims is they are limiting to tire sizes because of widths and off-sets. Other than that, typically much stronger, and of course you already have them. And there's usually a relatively cheap and plentiful supply as the first thing most people do is go out and get some...
Since Saturday 1/10/20

Lots of wet sloppy stuff
Ain't over yet for the east side. Leavenworth is getting it now, imagine the pass will be getting a lot more over the next few days

Haven't received them yet, weren't scheduled to ship till after New Years so maybe later this week or next. Have to have them studded. Got some brand new take off wheels to have them installed on so will end up with a nice winter setup. Will be interesting to see how they would do in the deeper...
Getting close...

I bet Amazon has sucked up all of the manufacturing slots. I see hundreds of them around with that stupid Prime smile (there's delivery dispatch center near my office)
On ours the gauge has never read correctly. I took a sharpie and marked where it reads when it's full and that is consistent. I have not run it to completely empty to do the same for the other end of the spectrum.
Doesn't seem that you can reclock the gauge

So far the skinniest cross I've found is 9" which is pretty minimal to push the camper back. Would add about 30gal which doubles my capacity. Not looking to drive cross-country without fueling but adding more range would be helpful (also makes the wife less nervous). The extended cab is what...
Yeah have thought about a skinny cross bed and pushing the camper back a little too. I do have a front hitch and not against carrying the spare up there.
Of course looking at adding a winch so that adds another dynamic

Resurrecting this to see how things have fared with the system. Looking at putting one in my F350. Extended cab short bed so no other options for getting a decent amount of fuel on board. Of course the spare tire is a problem (planning a Baja trip so need something)
