I retired from the school system in San Diego. Education without discipline and repercussions for rudeness and profanity from students is pointless. ere they are letting students take tests over and over until they pass. Everybody gets an honorable mention even if they lose. Failure prompts one...
Dodge should have a factory foam cushion insert for the drivers side seat. If you want to protect the leather some Marathon or Headwater's seat covers would outlast the truck. You can dial in all kinds of front and rear pockets
Yep. The tread voids and the sidewalls are vulnerable.. My "indestructible" Toyo MT's met their demise on I-5. Some metal shrapnel killed one. They had 20K on them so I had to buy two. $600 day.
I bought a near new 1973 Landruiser. Rust on the gutter rails in less than a year, squeaks, manual steering that beat me to death offroad and when Japan copied the GM inline six they must have raised the compression ratio as it HATED Mexican Pemex and it took starting fluid to get it to fire up on...
Dad's enabled him to be lazy. My dad said when people get hungry they'll work. Mom said during the Depression men would come to the door requesting food for chores. What a different world we live in. A little play on words from Marc Knopfler. Money for nothing and your chacha checks for free.
The tread voids are the weak link. I had a piece of metal penetrate the void on my Toyo MT's. Instant flat. I was on the freeway and driving to the right shoulder completely destroyed the tire. Since they had 20K on them it was a $700 day for two. The best of the two resides under my truck's...
I'd have to agree. They seem to get outstanding fuel economy and the powertrain is stout and dependable. The payload capacity and tow ratings aren't so hot but they have their place. The deals must be great out there.
I was over there in 1979 and at the end of three months I was still entering the UTE from the wrong side. How much is a liter of petrol over there in Aussie bucks?
I'd err on the side of too much tire. The E's can always be deflated a bit to improve the ride. With the P's your stuck. That Lexus is a heavy vehicle and combined with towing I'd feel more comfortable with an E or perhaps a D. I don't know how the full size 1/2 ton trucks get away with...
