ITTOG's Truck Camper Build (was 6' x 12' Trailer Conversion)

Thanks for the response. I can't really do the 1x1 you mention because there isn't enough room behind the boards. I can do the epoxy though. I am also going to try out this material on the outside. Maybe the two combined will work well. Corner Trim with Adhesive

I guess if you have an awesome name like Javelina's you can't have a lame name for a group like herd or flock. Thanks for looking that up. I would have never known. I agree with @chet6.7.

ITTOG's Truck Camper Build (was 6' x 12' Trailer Conversion)

I have started the interior skin and had a question for the crowd. Anyone have experience glueing 1/4" plywood together? I am looking for suggestions on what works best. I don't want to use corner trim, at least not now. Sent from my Pixel 9 Pro XL using Tapatalk

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

I completely agree with this statement. Even doing everything mentioned once you start pulling out from under the camper it will start leaning forward. Therefore you should anchor it with a rope pulling it back up the driveway so it can't lean forward. Otherwise you risk bending your jacks, or...

That first mortar looks very deep. I can't even imagine how much grinding they must have done over decades to make the mortars. Just seems a bit unbelievable.

    ITTOG's Overlanding Trips

You have a keen recollection of my wild and crazy adventures and near misses. LOL! That is the primary reason I bought it.

Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

This worked for us for about 20 years. Once women started coming with us we built an outhouse.

Supertramp Flagship HT Hard-sided Slide-in Pickup Camper

Changing the black strip to the body color makes a world of difference for me. I know we all have different tastes but that would be required if I was buying.

    That is all that matters.

Supertramp Flagship HT Hard-sided Slide-in Pickup Camper

I completely agree. I would never buy it as it looks above. Now if the seam material could be the same color as the camper, then possibly. But I definitely don't like that is introduces a very long seam that could leak.

Ram 3500 - Spare tire options for 37s.

There is tire deformation when underinflated which can reduce the circumference a little but it is minimal unless severely deflated. Or completely deflated, then you are riding on the rim which all will agree is a different circumference than the tire.

    My Journey

That post had a lot of different emotions: Wow-drugs, What a crazy way to be woken up. When I go to my family property that is off-grid I almost always am there at least one night alone. I always have this slight fear in the back of my mind of people messing with my truck. Luckily, the only...

New Camp Trailer Build - Bean Squared Style

No. I built my camper with 1.5" tube and then used VHB and Sikaflex 252 to adhere the ACM to the tube. I have small dents along the tubing and in area's there is no tube support. In my experience what is behind the ACM has not impact, or at least very little, on whether it will dent or not. As...
