I own a 15 4Runner Trail with all the bells and whistle that came on the Trail Edition including Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS). I installed OME suspension and 33s when new. Now running Toytech suspension. Ive always thought the offroad ride was too rough. Even aired down to 15 its...
Spent many hours on old truss bridges like that. Those thick planks felt pretty good underfoot in winter. Better than steel grate designs that came later. At least they seemed warmer.

Exactly why i stopped traveling in Baja in 2019. Yes i used to camp on Baja beaches solo often. But rarely on the Pacific side.

Me too but not overnights. Brrrr!
My winter fatbiking is actually spring when the snow is crusted enough to support my bike. Ride anywhere and everywhere. But the season is very short. Days too as it’s only solid enough to support you before about 10:30 to 11:00.

I use the phrase lots too.
Despite Jerry’s deflection he does take excellent pictures. Composition is a major part of good photography. Jerry just gave us a great example. His sunset/sunrise photos were greatly enhanced by the wind turbine.

The sporting goods store you found is called Gear Heads. I never pass through Moab without stopping there. Its amazing how that shop has grown since my first stop there, maybe 20+ years ago.
Cute little pup and great new owner.

Like you i have stopped in VOG many times. Never get tired of those rock formations. I guess my favorite is the Seven Sailors because I’m a Navy veteran. Once a sailor….,,

Glad you said “most”. I carry four Maxtrax and had to use all of them and lots of shovel work after getting stuck on a Baja beach a few years ago. Could have used two more for my trailer.
