Sell my D70 to get a new lens?

So I've had my D90 for about a year now, I bought it with the kit lens, and had a 10 year-old Tamrom 70-300mm lens I've been using for telephoto shots. Honestly, it's not that great of a lens, and I'm finding I need more zoom for some of what I do. I don't have a lot of money right now, but...

Some questions about photos, photo rights, watermarking, etc

ok, so the last few years, I've been taking photos for a local skate competition and a local skate park. It was one of those things where I went to take some pictures (I'd never taken any photos like that before so I figured it would be a good learning experience)...well the organizers...

Edgestar fridge, outside on the trailer?

So i'm finishing up my trailer build and am putting my edgestar 43qt fridge on front. Does it need a cover? Is in remotely water/weather proof/resistant? I can build a box for it, but I'm not gonna bother if it can handle the elements. Anyone know or have an idea on this? Think fully...

    Dual-Battery Trailer wiring diagram

Gonna be at our family cabin for 2 weeks, no electricity and decided last-second to get a fridge. Trying to set up a dual battery system w/cheap locally-sourced parts and stuff from the garage. There's no room in my H3, so I'm gonna have to have the 2nd (and maybe 3rd) battery on the trailer...

    Powering LEDs via Cat5

Not vehicle related, although it probably could be... I'm wanting to install 12V LEDs in custom enclosures in my house. To power them, I'd like to use Cat5 (or Cat6) powered by a 1A 12V adapter. The LEDs draw .08A each (~1W). I think Cat5 can handle 0.5A per strand, but I'm not sure about...

    iPhone 4 v EVO 4G initial impressions

ok, so I wanted to give a brief recap of the iPhone 4 and EVO 4G. My wife got the iPhone 4 the day it came out (she was one of the lucky 600k that actually got the upgrade and didn't get her order cancelled like her sister). She upgraded from a jailbroken 3Gs. My daughter's bf got the EVO...

Need help converting shapefile to google earth or gpx

ok, so I had a good conversation with the folks at Gifford Pinchot National Forest around their GIS data...and somehow out of that, they created a 'Recreation sites' file for recreationers like me to use in finding all the cool things to do around GPNF (trailheads, waterfalls, etc)...

    Campsite GPS data

Hey, not sure if this has been posted here... http://www.uscampgrounds.info They have a ton of campgrounds/parks listed, and best of all you can export to a .csv file. Not all states are completed yet, but I've double-checked their data against various other POI websites and NF websites and...

    New M416

(also posted on Mud, covering my bases) So just got done picking up an M416. It's a 1966, and was in Forest Service use up until '06. I bought it from the guy who bought it from the FS at auction. In pretty good shape, no rust (Pacific NW, so no salt), fairly new tires. A few holes in the bed...
