Saw the wheel both ways without the front swaybar at highway speed and you'll experience more body roll and a delayed response. Thuren and Carli sell reduced rate swaybars that might be a good compromise. You have a much higher center of gravity than stock with more leverage over the steering...
Yeah, something to replace the step stool for entering/exiting in the middle of the night or carrying cooked food down would seal the deal.
Nice pics I remember how beautiful southern Utah was when we were up there several years ago. Extraordinary combo there bud.
I've been up to Deaver's Forge...
How much range do you get from a 45 minute charge? Do all these range estimates supply a figure for four people in the vehicle w/A/C on or in the case of the offroad vehicles a full load?
The new diesels don't smell
Diesels are needed to carry decent sized cabovers and to tow large 5th wheelers. Ford's new 7.3 approaches a diesel's grunt albeit with 50% more fuel consumption but the others out there just don't cut it. Passing and hills kill them.
I'd get a 2003-2007 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9 Cummins. Aside from Ford's new 7.3 gasser all V-8's out there will gulp gas and hills will require downshifting and 4K+ rpm's. The Cummins is a true medium duty diesel. The auto's on diesels are the weak point and will require some beefing up. The NV5600...
I've felt the D rated sidewalls of the D 12.50's and the E 13.50's. The D's are thinner and more flexible than the E's. 50 psi just doesn't instill much confidence in the tire for me. I have no idea how the manufacturer's can make that claim.
35's will be much easier on your drivetrain. Stay with an E anything. Keep the stock swaybar for your application. The stock shocks are junk. Upgrade them to Bilsteins at the least.
