That’s cool! Post some before and after inside pics if you want .
That’s a a tall rig! I’m still adjusting to a Hardside Northstar Adventurer from all pop-ups, and upgrading from my 12 Ram 2500 to a 21 3500 added another couple inches…. Watch for low bridges ;)

Anyone put a Bigwig swaybar on a newer Ram HD?
Hellwig only specs out swaybars for the Diesels. The gas truck have a exhaust resonator close to the end of the tailpipe, right where the passenger side part of the swaybar goes.
Most vendors just specify 14-22 Ram 3500(no mention of engine). From...
You can ask whatever you want for anything you want, who could possibly be provided the authority to specify what would be considered price gouging? This is America!
What the mods should enforce IMHO is this:
It should not be acceptable to edit a sale ad once the item is sold, with the sole...
Impressive approach and departure angles only prove useful when the ground clearance and wheel base are such that you don’t high center on a curb :)

I have been playing with Gaia in my 21 Ram 3500 with Apple Car play. It seems really limited compared to the iPhone version , either that or there is a hidden menu somewhere.
It uses whatever map layers that you have selected on the phone.
I have standalone iPhone 12 Promax without cellular...
‘Nother example of why I typically do t bother trying to buy anything from drive by posters with one post :)

Tacos seem to sell for stupid money, sell it and get a real truck, even something older will be better than an overloaded Toyota.
I drove Toyotas for 30 years, I love them, but not for carrying or towing. I now have a 21’ Ram 3500 crew cab long bed (one extreme to the other , with a 1500 and...
It’s funny how these things cycle through the years(some is definitely driver preference)
When I bought my 2012 Ram 2500 I drove lots of trucks . The Fords all drove like tanks with no suspension :) . They did( in both the 250/350) have hundreds of pounds more payload capacity than the Rams I...
I’m following along too. Great job on the build and the documentation.
I had an Alaskan build thread here several years back, I too felt at times that I was posting to a vacuum :)

The more I think about this , the less sense it makes.
Why would USAA insure a Camper that could be sitting in a campground in Alaska, the truck could be in California?
You can spend $50k on a truck camper these days without even trying. No way an insurance company will cover that.
(Honestly...
This doesn’t sound right . I have USAA, and they told me specifically that they don’t underwrite Truck Campers. They have Progressive underwrite the policy. The companies share data, so it’s not like going with a whole new company.
My current arrangement is all my vehicles are with USAA and the...
I haven’t played with my new one enough to say for sure, but it certainly seems to work. The one on my 2012 definitely did, but I think that was a 10.5 not 11.5” rear.
I forgot about the trick to apply the brake to get the limited slip to engage. Not sure why because the same trick applies to...
Don’t own a Camp X, but have had several pop-up.
Leverage is a wonderful thing and a very light weight , easy to disassemble lever on a stick(a few inches shorter that the ceiling height) could be made that would lift the roof the first 4-6”. If the lever part went “over center” and remained...
