I’m going to ask if they can Carpet delete at the dealer. If so I’ll take the truck home and take the carpet out(assuming the vinyl is under??)
The manual transfer lever would be more exciting if it also had manual free spin hubs

New 2021 Ram 3500 crew cab 4x4 longbed SRW, gasser (6.4 Hemi)
Billet Silver with black cloth interior
Just showed up on a lot under an hour away, build date 8/2021

Thanks for the input.
I’m going to go big on the solar, mostly because I can :)

If I go with a flat bed I’m stuck going commercial anyway. Once the camper is mated permanently to the truck, I can go Rv
This is USAA commercial but under written by Progressive, for the RV part
I currently have Progressive policy on my truck camper, initialed by my USAA rep, it could not...
Insurance is weird to insure a flatbed or no bed.

Gasser 4x4. Not towing much, maybe 6k cargo trailer. Not up mountains normally.

OP is putting the cart before the horse.
Stop dreaming about the “motor home”, buy or build it, drive it for a while and see what’s what.
You will probably find the realities of trying to off-road a beast of a camper to be such that airing down is irrelevant.
Worrying about airing up and...
I wish I kept the stock exhaust on my Hemi. I put a flow master FX that was supposed to be slightly louder than stock with a nice growl at idle….I hate it on the highway with a camper or trailer, serious drone at 2000rpm, I threw another $100 on a resonator (glass pack) which made it ok with no...

I saw a popup from the 80s-90s that had a rear panel/door that folded and was full height
Most manufacturers use the short door so that the top of the door provides support when camper is on the jacks-there is a lot of force trying...
Last bump before storing for winter.
I go on nite shift 12hr shifts x 7 days/wk on Thursday and don’t want to deal with kooks anymore.
Never ever. I mean ever! Put an ad in Facebook market place…. Biggest bunch of morons on the planet. (Will this go in my Ridgeline? How about a 5’ bed Toyota...
