I just redid the torsion bar mounts on my Northstar with a very similar roof. I definitely recommend putting a piece of flat stock under the torsion brackets. Drill the holes for the 1/4-20 bolts nicely so there is no slop. I used 1.5” wide by 1/8” thick flat stock. I put like 10 wood screws...
