Find a smaller shop, they will likely have a few left overs( last year) for a nice discount, or do as recommended above and wait till snow flakes threaten to fall.

Assuming you have serious medical background based on user name, so you probably know this, weld fumes and grinding dust can knock some people on their rears( I'm one of them) a good respirator with clean filters really helps. IIRC it's cadmium and chromium from the welding.
Build looks great...
I looking too, I need a nice external 20# mount for my Alaskan, most of the ones I see are pretty cheesy( like the one from etrailer)
I'd pay good money for an aluminum one

11500? Is that correct? Not trying to stir up crap I don't care what your truck weighs, other than a data point for mine. That's 3000# over my 2500s payload. Of course it's the same truck as the 3500 except the springs which I suspect you upgraded. I guess I'm not going to sweat being a bit over...
Lots of engineers from lots of camper manufacturers have pondered floor plans. The issue is limited space, there is only so much you can do. Some companies still offer a side dinette(sofa) Alaskan is one.

I put Napa premium rotors and pads front and back on my Ram 2500 crew 4x and like them. I just put the Alaskan on the truck his week so I don't have any loaded miles, but empty it's great.
