My hands were replaced a while back and you can tell because they glow. i agree do not replace the dial. Just had mine repaired at the San Francisco factory repair center. They are one of a very few factory centers in the US. I think the non date models are definitely unique.

A real classic! I have the same without date but the officially certified chronometer version (1976). The radium face has long since gone dark.

They have the 350 with inverter for $299. Still sounds like a good deal even though the Yeti 400s are coming out. The rep said the 350 uses the same battery as the 400. Trying to decide!
