It took us about 3 hours to complete the 26 miles of Old Ore Road. We stopped and took pictures of all campsite names on the Old Ore Road. I need to probably post those pics so it can help some people plan.
It is interesting to hear that road is not very populated. I wonder when does it really...
I like your pics. I think it is time you put a Yakima took rack for all those things in the trunk.
Also, I am curious, where did you buy that water can and how much did you pay for it? That is the best scepter water can to buy. I will be buying one or 2 of those sometime soon.
I was in Canada...
I just found this. Looks good and seller says it needs nothing. I just posted it for someone who might be interested.

Hello, I would like someone to help me check out a 2002 Montero in the Lincoln, Alabama area. Or say Birmingham, Alabama area. If you know anybody who can, please, PM me. Or if anybody can, please, PM me. I look forward to hearing from someone.
I like this thread. Since I was looking at these and admiring them, I thought I should share what I found also.

This is the best map of the park with its trails. It is the same map that they give at the park. So, feel free to download this link from their website so it can help you t map your trip. Big Bend was awesome. We are leaving tomorrow for a 12 hours drive back home...
