some people have mounted them into the plastic bumper and then used a piece of plate steel on the inside of the bumper to help tie all the lights together and re-inforce the plasctic (maybe some epoxy or JB-weld on the steel bar too).
That picture really answered one of my main questions. i thought i might could fit 2 optima's in there. I was hoping that I could just modify the stock tray and then make a custom hold-down. I guess that it will need a complete custom tray though, probably due to heighth of batteries.
sweet, looks like you did a custom tray and hold down in the stock location? and are those just two group 31 optima's?
