    Capturing the night images

Ok, I am need of some help. I am using a borrowed Nikon D70, and need to capture some night photographs of some lights side by side. I want to capture "a driver's view" of light 1 vs. light 2 and so on. I am planning on setting the camera up on a tripod, on the front driver's side of the...

Testing Pull-Pal Alternative: Smittybilt W.A.S.P. (Winch Anchor Support Platform)

I have limited experience with it. It has similar yet different design, and it did grip in similar conditions. We have heard that they are bit hard to deal with in regards to ordering... It is in the works however. I agree, and was hoping that some one else would have some experience(s)...

Testing Pull-Pal Alternative: Smittybilt W.A.S.P. (Winch Anchor Support Platform)

Well some of you may have seen the ads for the Smittybilt W.A.S.P. (Winch Anchor Support Platform). At first glance I thought we'd have an excellent alternative to Pull-Pal and ARB Portable Ground Anchor. With a rated load capacity of 10,000lbs and max load capacity of 12,000lbs, I was rather...

    "Continental Dividish" Expedition Build

No, we're not the only one that sells them, any ARB dealer should be able to get them for you. In reference to Scott's post about a rack that allows the tent to open over the hood, there is nothing that stops you from mounting the rack with the flat side forward.

    "Continental Dividish" Expedition Build

Check with 1LegLance from disabled explorer's. He is active on this board and mud as well. They recently did the continental divide, and he is a wealth of knowledge with GPS/map software. ARB has the touring roof rack, which would give you a basket up front, you also would need the mounting...

What do you use to buff out brush marks?

I just quit washing my truck. I just hose it off, and let it dry. Ummmmmm yeah not the best solution, but seems to work good for me. I think the last time I washed my truck with soap was after the Trophy, other than that it gets frequent water only baths to keep the mud/dirt collections from...

    SAS/SAC debate thread

That also was my line of thought for a while. Once load increased, and suspension changed (coil overs and new rear springs/ shocks), I honestly can say that we all have changed this well thought out suspension in favor of an aftermarket part or parts to get the vehicle more how we'd like it to...
