We leave the bed set up permanently in our Casita. Swapped the dinette cushions for a memory foam from Walmart. Cut it with an electric knife to fit the curved back wall. It's very comfortable, light weight and inexpensive.

I've found the waste holding tanks to be more limiting than the fresh. There are few places in Eastern US where you can randomly dump gray and obviously none for black. It might be different in the Far North but in the US you wouldn't want lake water in your fresh tank.(n)

Is this a 2WD or 4WD? I think the payloads vary, may influence your choices.

Don't underestimate the value of possible vs pipe dream. The time kids will want to travel with you is limited. A readily available class C will get you 75% of what may be an unachievable ideal.
