    The art of compromise

Well... here we go again. You have patiently (or not) followed me through modifying slightly our pop up... http://www.americanadventurist.com/forum/threads/not-so-expo-2005-rockwood-pop-up.2858/ After our trip to the Mid Atlantic Overland festival last summer, I decided I wanted something that...

1985 Four Wheel Camper Grandey Model

Can you measure the length and width of the part of the camper that sits down inside the bed? I have a trailer I think this might work in.

    Summer cottage

Nice work. I did my rear stabilizers the same way. Effective and very inexpensive. John

    Hard sided adventure camper recommendations

You might consider some of the toy haulars out there. They can be built more robust since they can carry weight. We looked at the Wolf Pup 17. With the ability to lower the rear door, screen in the back and leave it open like that you have a great open space. Final thing I will say is that...

    Differential Oil (04 TJ)

    2005 Rubicon LJ

Replaced the valve cover gasket on the jeep today. Leak was progressively getting worse. Of course it took me twice as long as on all the write ups, but that is par for the course. So far so good. We'll see how it works out. Also clicked over 100k on this thing last week... and this is the...

Used Wrangler, Sweat Spot Year and Model

I would opt for either a 2003 - 04 TJ Rubicon, or sport. Great years on both vehicles... find one that has not been modded. Plan on getting seat risers for her.

    Greetings and a question

I like it Jeffery. Seems like a well built mild lift. FWIW, I like a little bit of rake on a jeep. How do you like the grabber AT2's?

Why aren't there more Pop-up trailers here?

From my experience, it all depends on how you are going to use it. Standard pop ups (we have a 2005 Rockwood pop up) are excellent for campground camping. They are also usable on dirt/gravel roads and field/festival type camping. Benefits are relatively light weight, easy to tow, tons of room...
