Do you have a picture or can you describe how the spare was mounted on the front of the trailer when you first got it. I have a similar trailer adn am trying to figure that out. Looks like a decent spot to put it since it won't fit on the side (or I have not yet figured out that yet either)...

You are welcome. Having used the fridge a couple times now I can say, as many have, that It is so much better than a cooler. I have buddies who are running the arb and the edgestar. All have had long and frequent use with no issues. John

Looks like a solid plan to me.

I used the junction box from etrailer also. It makes things so much easier and cleaner. Also the videos they have were a huge help getting the wiring done right. Good luck with is. John

Yes a good thing, just cannot swing that much $ if we keep the pop up, so I have to get creative. I realize this set up is gonna be a rat rod among caddy's but you guys love me anyway :cool:

Wife and I have discussed something like this as an alternative to our pop up. The real benefits I think would be while on the road. I could drive, they can sleep, lunches, etc... at a rest stop become that much easier and more private. Looks like a great rig, not too big but you and the...

Turned out great and I iike that tent.

We pull a similarly sized Rockwood pop up with our 2005 LJ. Just recently completed a 1200 mile trip with many winding, steep mountain roads. Our trailer has no brakes and I never felt the need for them. I think you just have to be cognizant of the weight back there and adjust driving styles...

Thanks! We love the LJ. Recent trip, pulling the pop up, covered 1200 miles in a week and a half. Jeep did great, even in the mountains of West Virginia. Having had TJ's in the past, the LJ makes packing, towing and riding for long times much more enjoyable.
