Offroad Trailer build from Bantam / M416 military trailer

Do you have a picture or can you describe how the spare was mounted on the front of the trailer when you first got it. I have a similar trailer adn am trying to figure that out. Looks like a decent spot to put it since it won't fit on the side (or I have not yet figured out that yet either)...

Jscusmcvet Trailer Rehab Truck Tent Build

Perhaps most important, Ann likes it, so we are looking for sleeping options that are only 48" wide that can sleep 3.

Choosing the right Fridge, how does one know which to choose?

You are welcome. Having used the fridge a couple times now I can say, as many have, that It is so much better than a cooler. I have buddies who are running the arb and the edgestar. All have had long and frequent use with no issues. John

    Wiring, 7 blade connector

I used the junction box from etrailer also. It makes things so much easier and cleaner. Also the videos they have were a huge help getting the wiring done right. Good luck with is. John

Choosing the right Fridge, how does one know which to choose?

I bought the Indel B from Equipt 1. Works great, super quiet and plenty big for my family of 3 for our recent week away. A couple things that could be better about it. I would like a latch on the top. I did not run into any problem, but a latch would be nice, and I would like to be able to...

Jscusmcvet Trailer Rehab Truck Tent Build

Yes a good thing, just cannot swing that much $ if we keep the pop up, so I have to get creative. I realize this set up is gonna be a rat rod among caddy's but you guys love me anyway

    1987 Starcraft Astrolite Project

Wife and I have discussed something like this as an alternative to our pop up. The real benefits I think would be while on the road. I could drive, they can sleep, lunches, etc... at a rest stop become that much easier and more private. Looks like a great rig, not too big but you and the...

Jscusmcvet Trailer Rehab Truck Tent Build

Some of you may have seen my thread on our 2005 Rockwood Pop up. http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/145296-Not-so-Expo-2005-Rockwood-Pop-Up After our trip to the Mid Atlantic Overland Festival earlier this month, we (I) decided I "needed" something that was perhaps one step more off...

    Coleman Taos build

We pull a similarly sized Rockwood pop up with our 2005 LJ. Just recently completed a 1200 mile trip with many winding, steep mountain roads. Our trailer has no brakes and I never felt the need for them. I think you just have to be cognizant of the weight back there and adjust driving styles...

    2005 Rubicon LJ

Thanks buddy! Jeep has not been getting much love lately, as we put some time in on the pop up camper. I am holding off on new top, which is much needed, to see if Squint77's top comes to market. Little Joe and I did a day out at Uwharrie Nat'l Forest on the ORV trails there when we got...

    2005 Rubicon LJ

Thanks! We love the LJ. Recent trip, pulling the pop up, covered 1200 miles in a week and a half. Jeep did great, even in the mountains of West Virginia. Having had TJ's in the past, the LJ makes packing, towing and riding for long times much more enjoyable.
