    Old YJ versus new Rubi

Best part of the YJ was how easy they were (are) to work on. No question the newer the jeep the better the vehicle, but I love YJ's

    2005 Rubicon LJ

Thanks! I have replaced my entire front end in search of that dreaded DW. Finally... I won... for the time being. I cannot even say exactly what it was, most likely a combination of things that were just worn. That is the way of jeeps. A constant chasing of issues and upgrades. I...

    2005 Rubicon LJ

Little jeep maintenance tonight. Thankfully I had my helper, the mighty Joe, to help me :) Have to admit I am so happy to have the barn to work in and a little monster to help me out. Nothing but an oil change and tire rotation, but it is getting in his blood... makes Dad happy.

    Aussie desert trip

Great trip with your kids. Both my older ones learned how to drive and also drive a manual transmission by doing it first off road. Love your wide open spaces. John

    Family Expo JK build

There are many of us here who have been down your road. For some of us the time comes to leave the rock crawling behind and seek a different kind of adventure. It is hard sometims, however to not get pulled back. There have been several times in my current build that I have had to step back...

    Coleman Colorado Rebuild

Cool trailer and very cool Bronco. These little pop ups are perfect for one or two people. Are you going to modify it at all or just rebuild the parts that need it? John

    Hello Jeepers

You will be fine IMO with 33's and a small lift. Not rock crawling, right?

My Jeep FC170 (Forward Control) "Patina Rod" project

Just catching up on your thread. Great work. Remarkable inventiveness (is that a word) how you are modifying and reusing so much. Nice work. John

    2015 Renegade Trailhawk

Thanks for this morning's good laugh! One day, sitting on the porch looking at my LJ on 31's, I said to my then 4 year old, "Dang that is a nice jeep, isn't it?" His response? "Yeah, but it is supposed to be BIGGER" than that." Gotta love 'em... out of the mouths of babes.:coffeedrink:

    Receiver mounted MFC carrier

Envious of the open space and being able to travel for that amount of time without running into gas stations :-). Wife and I were just talking about a someday trip hopping up the east coast, hitting historical sites and also places neither of us have ever been... like Maine.
