Picked this up today, need suggestions for 1x9 set up.

Chris King or Raceface. I've had good luck with a Raceface DH/FR BB on my Chameleon. 4 years of hucking, riding, racing in the mud/rain/dust with no issues. I run repacked XT bearings on my SS. I've had really good success repacking the shimano bearings with better grease.

    SS nation

The whip I just picked up. Edit: Sorry for the crappy pic, I might have another somewhere. But it is an On One Inbred SS, running 34/21, xt cranks, wtb hubs (crap!) Stans rims, Reba race for the boingy parts. Great riding bike, Head tube angle is a touch steep for some of the chunkier stuff...

Looks like the hella's will be the way to go. Thanks for the input everyone, I'd love to go with some of the LED units, but, need new tires on the jeep.

    JK-Headlight Replacement Options?

Following this thread with interest. The headlights in my JK are incredibly bad. So far its looking like the hella H4's and bulbs are going to be the way to go. Anyone have experience with this setup with stock wattage bulbs? A harness would be in the works for sure. Did that with my...

    Gravel road riding advice needed

What tires are you using now that you're having issues with? Are you having issues with the tires being punctured? If punctured, is it from the gravel itself or from glass or nails/metal or thorny plants? Or cuts from rocks/gravel/glass? I have some friends up here in the bay area who have run...

    Me and the Moonlander!

If you're still running the stock wheels on that Moonlander, I'd bet the cones on the rear hub just loosened up. I've had similar issues with previous Shimano hubs. If you have some hub wrenches, its a fairly simple process to take the bike, put it on a rack, then drive it to the shop and let...

    YJ love

I tried getting the ones in my JK off. I am thankful for the constant reminder on a sicker, of all places, that a big piece of sailcloth won't do anything to protect people inside!

    2012 trade in value? Help.

Yep. That. My 14month old is in a front facing and getting the headrests out of the way was the biggest contributor to getting the carseat to fit on the passenger side well. (that and about half of the week the smaller side of the rear seat is folded forward with a mtb shoved in there....) I...

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

My '12 JKU 6sp. Bone stock at the moment aside from a few dings and dents and a 2m antenna. Soon it'll be getting the winch from my old xj as well as some added ground clearance in the form of hocky pucks and tires to replace the crappy minivan tires on there currently. Sent by smoke signal.
