Well here I go again. I can't decide where to mount the ham antenna on my FJ60, I bought the mount to mount it by the hood but I just don't know. Pictures of where you mount yours would be great. I really don't want to go thru the roof.

There is a bracket that is located at the transfercase shifter. This bracket looks like it supports the attachment rod for the shifter linkage. But it does something else, it keeps the Hi/Low shifter from going into low range while the t-case is in 2wd. Only lets you go into low while in 4wd...

After an unfortunate demise of our '85 FJ60 we have found an '87 FJ60 to replace it. The complete engine and running gear was removed out of the '85 and put into the '87. A quick ramp test, not to bad for 2WD. This is without shocks and the sway bar disonnnected. I get 4 1/2" of travel...
