Yes, the smog exempt makes it quite desirable.

We have 4 kids and it's plenty comfortable. The rear bench seats have 3 sets of seatbelts per side so it can seat 8 in seatbelts and sleep 5 adults easily or in our case all of us fit easily with kids in the mix.
