2011 CC LWB Frontier with Vagabond Drifter

Installed longer rear shocks, an aluminum fuel tank skid, aluminum engine skid and a shrockworks diff cover. Also rerouted a lot of the electrical to one corner in the camper and upgraded the mattress. I’m planning to knock quite a bit off the list this summer. I’ve ordered new coilovers, 8020...

Nice! Yeah it should come in handy when that season rolls around. It was pretty easy and cheap. I used this for the back: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07DPK9VSR?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title and this method for the windoors: http://www.wildwewander.com/diy-truck-camper

2011 CC LWB Frontier with Vagabond Drifter

Getting ready for summer so I installed a bug screen. It was made for a house door (60"x80") so it was a little long but I trimmed it up from the bottom and fastened the trim piece to the new bottom. The width was perfect and fastened by velcro. The middle is magnetic. I also made some for the...

2011 CC LWB Frontier with Vagabond Drifter

Been a while. Back on Thanksgiving we took a trip down Highway 1 between San Francisco and LA then over to Joshua Tree to meet some friends. Then we bought a house, then we went to Big Sky, MT for a week. It has been busy which means not many truck projects. Back to work though! Lots of mods on...

Camp M Pop up for full/mid size trucks, in the PNW

I used to have a popup with a very similar footprint. The guy I bought it from had it on a Tundra. There wasn't much overhang on the sides of the bed and there was extra storage below the overhang in the bed (Would be cool to build out drawers or something). However, I would pay attention to the...

    2019 Ford F-150 XLT 5.0 6.5' - Vagabond Nomad - $61.5k Bay Area

Man, awesome set up. I currently have a Drifter (almost identical to this nomad) and can vouch for the Vagabond quality. Good luck with the sale!

2015 Nissan Frontier custom flatbed camper

Man this thing is awesome. I have a CC LB with a Vagabond Drifter so similar set up. Always thought it would be cool to set it up on a flatbed!

Titan swap too much for just overlanding?

This is a bit old but what other renditions have you done? I currently have SPC arms with 5100’s and ADO HD lift springs. I don’t love the ride, they top out hard on quick drops on and off road. Debating between the t swap and just extended travel coil overs. I’m willing to spend more on premium...

2019 Frontier SV 4x4 Crew Cab LWB weekend adventure truck build

How is the gas mileage and braking with the 33’s and the camper? I’m thinking about going up to that same tire size from 265/75r16. I want to go 33’s but have been hesitating due to braking performance and gas (both already kinda suck with the camper and 32’s) . The 255’s are lighter than 285’s...

2011 CC LWB Frontier with Vagabond Drifter

I think the leaf pack I got was not rated for quite as high of a load as the HD OME so that’s surprising! Usually unloaded I keep them pretty light, 5-10 psi. When I load up go out for a weekend, I usually bump them to around 30. To be honest, it doesn’t change the ride all that much, just the...

2011 CC LWB Frontier with Vagabond Drifter

Got out to see the fall colors and used my portable diesel heater for the first time. It was great. Still debating between leaving it portable and mounting it inside. It takes up valuable space and would be louder inside but much less set up time and a cleaner look. Gets the job done for now.

Finally ditched the blocks and got the leaf pack, greasable shackles and new bushings installed. Did the rear brakes/rotors while I was at it. Pretty stoked with them. Especially for the price.
