Just an FYI - I had 315/75r17 load range C on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Got 28,000 miles out of them. Was frustrated with the poor tread life. The kicker - I learned that they have a 50,000 mile warranty. Got my second set for $425 installed. Might be worth investigating.

This was shot over 10 years ago. As I recall the bikes weight was not an issue. The issue was not being able to get to the back of the Jeep without removing the bike. That was a fun bike!

I drilled through the Mac’s Custom Tie Down VersaTie L Track and mounted it copying the existing bolt holes from the lifting mechanism. Definitely a little more work, but the results are nice and clean.

Removed the Ursa Minor J30 and installed the half doors.

Whoops, your findings are correct. On the phone Brian explained the frame as being 2 C channels. These C channels create the super strong frame that appears to look like a box. I managed to find this photo that shows the rear of the Goose Gear truck.

Mac’s Custom Tie Downs sells VersaTie track that I used down the sides of the Ursa Minor. Then I simple use 1”x2” - 52” rectangular aluminum for the cross members. A lot more photographs of my Jeep are at my Instagram account linked in my signature.

Made a few changes - AEV Snorkel, RhinoRack Batwing Compact, and upgraded from the 10 year old La Paz lights to the New Baja Designs LP9. Jeep Life = Never Done. ?

Rhino Rack Batwing Compact fits just fine using the 3 rearward awning/Ursa Minor brackets. With the Compact there is no need to move the front latches. I am using a Force Protection Gear Field Blanket as a side wall in the photograph.
