A Jimny is spacious! :) Hello! Here is what I did in my Jimny this winter and spring. Wanted to be able to use it as a camper with sleeping and storage for at least a couple of nights. The most I slept in it for six nights in a row. At a campsite so no hardcore stuff. :)

As Redneck44 said above, Mora knives are nice and fairly cheap. I don't know the prices in US but here in Sweden you can get a Mora 2000 for about 20-25 USD. I bought one a couple of yers ago and I'm really pleased with it, nice to work with, comfortable grip, easy to sharpen when needed. Only...

My dad needed some help on his house so I decided to make the trip to him a little road trip with a night in the car. :) Started my Gps app in my phone (yes I know the way to him :) ) and ticked the box Avoid highways. It was a really nice trip 450 or so km. I stopped at a lookout point...

As a car stereo salesman we used optimas alot and the biggest problem we had (and a lot of others told me as well) was if we drained them completely they could be used as a door stop. They would never get back to their original state. This was yellow top and i can't say anything about the other...

No idea. Try google the numbers and letters that is on it. I can't see them on clearly on the pic but thats how me and my boss did when we found something we didn't know what it was when we stripped the electrics in his race Audi. :) Unless you already know and asked as a quiz. :P

Haha! I found the exact one on the pic, backtracking the URL adress. :) Nice price, two of them 60 dollar. Shipping is another thing though, 142 dollars + tax and customs fees... Doh! Have to find something else instead. :)

That will fall into the very gray area according to the engineer (who works with approving vehicles). If connected like on your pic I would say OK, he said when I asked it have to be connected to a wire or something like that and not "directly bolted" to the car... But I think I would want go...

Not much of an update of this thread but it's a small one anyway. I found out the mods I've made to the Jimny is illegal. Appearantly you are not allowed to take out the back seat and mount an interior like I did using the factory points for bolts... So to make the mod legal I have to make...

Thanks guys! :-) Ooooh! Flip-pac....:drool: don't think I could get it approved but as you said, interesting project. :) I had an RTT in mind. Almost like a pop up roof but instead of a hinge in front some kind of fitting, looks like a non centered X, I've seen them on VW campers with pop up...
