14.4mtrs is the official figure given, let's just say it's woeful whatever the measurement is....i think my previous 105 series Landcruiser was around a 11.0 mtr turning circle as a comparison. The vehicles are coil front and leaf rear.

Not the best pic of my vehicle, but it is the latest... just returned from the Aussie outback, here's our free camp at Ayres Rock / Uluru. Was great that both my kids (and myself again) got to climb the rock before it's closure to doing so next year.

If the turning circle wasn't bad enough before the stretch, can't imagine it now...lol....i'm saying that as a 79 dual cab owner myself by the way. Looks like a great set up though to tour the country in.

it would have come complete with the dent above the rear wheel arch that I put in it right where that pic was taken (even though the front guard looks close to hitting, but it wasn't that one)...lol.

Make sure you get there one day BR..... we've been many times and still love getting back there whenever we get the chance

i don't miss it's gutless 1HZ engine, but I do miss it being more comfortable from a coils all round perspective when going off-road, aswell as more room inside the old vehicle. I do prefer the canopy on the back of my 79 over the wagon set up I had and certainly prefer the V8 in the new...

It took much longer then i had hoped, but the Cruiser now has some new rims and rubber on it now. The vehicle is now running some ROH Octagon 17X8" rims instead of the factory 16X7" rims it comes with, and it's gone from basically road LT tyres to a set of Nitto Grappler muddies BEFORE AFTER

I'm loving the vehicle myself, but it's not without it's faults...the turning circle is diabolical to say the least, wish it was more like my old 105 series in that regard
