Just curious if anyone has had their frame replaced d/t service bulletin. My 2005 reg cab 4x4 2.7 w/ manual has been in shop for 3 months awaiting new frame and some other stuff. Probably going to do shocks/struts while its in, OME.

Well the 2004 sold already BUT.... I just found a 2.7 manual 4x4. Looks clean. I have the 2.7 in my Tacoma and it's been very good to me. I am starting to think maybe Spring is a better time to shop for a 4runner.

As if there weren't enough choices. I just stumbled across another option, the 4th gen. I see a few priced in my budget or at least close. One that caught my eye is a 2004 with v8 ,good maintenance records, western life, 3rd row option. I know it won't be the ultimate off road but my wife likes...

It would be nice to have a 3rd row for kids and such. I think 2nd gen may be most cost effective though.
