    RTT Rack for my M416

The rack worked great on its first run. The straps were perfect and not one bit of movement (unless I wanted it to move. Thinking about possibly hinging the rack to one side so that I can load a bit easier. I may build a system to add supports (removable) for an awning next.

Not letting me upload the 1450 cases pics saying they are too big. I will get more later. In the mean time I have attached links to the pelican site for those cases. https://www.pelican.com/us/en/product/cases/protector/1450 https://www.pelican.com/us/en/product/cases/laptop-case/protector/1470

Sorry it took so long. I have added pictures of the 1620 Pelican cases and have added a 1470 laptop case, 1450 (tan) case, the Beaver Tree Kitchen and some Howling Moon accessories. RTT Rack for my M416

So one of my friends stops by and suggests using the handles on the tub to attach to the rack frame. Today I cut four slots in the angle iron to feed straps through. A quick trip and less than $10 at Harbor Freight and I am all done. Straps are rated at over 300 lbs a piece so I imagine this...

    RTT Rack for my M416

jays0n....with rack removable, the RTT will still be off the ground. I work on my property clearing dead brush/trees, mill wood for lumber and haul firewood to camp. All of this is work that having a trailer is a whole lot easier. I am usually in there 4-5 times a summer and my stay is usually...

    RTT Rack for my M416

I am trying to avoid drilling/welding to the trailer. I am going to make a frame using 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 angle iron to male a frame that sits just inside of the trailer bed and sits on the round tube of the trailer. I am looking for suggestions or ideas that folks have used to attach (clamp) items...

    RTT Rack for my M416

I recently purchased a Silverwing RTT and want to make a rack to mount it on my M416. I think I am going to use 1 1/2 inch angle iron and make a frame that tucks inside the frame of the trailer. I will then weld on 3 cross bars. I would like to attach it to the trailer with some kind of clamping...

This is my m416B1 Rescue Thread

I don't have pictures, but I think I can explain it well enough. If you weld an extension on the rear cross member to extend out as far as the trailer side of the top, you then weld a bar to the top round bar to the end of your extension of the crossmember. Then you can weld a flat piece of 14...
