I never found one in the condition I wanted. One in Nevada had bent axles! Still want one.

    The Campulance

Thanks Guys. I transferred back to the Lower 48 and a friend of mine wanted the Campulance. I was going to fly back up with the wife after winter and drive her home but I couldn't refuse a good offer from a friend for the Campulance. She is sold to a young great couple who I know will have...

THE TRIP - Cape York 2015

Thanks for sharing your expedition. What an area to live in! Its a shame the old girl rolled over but a new face lift will make her look all new again. The main thing is nobody got hurt to bad. Cabs and glass etc can be replaced but people can't. God Bless and keep the Vids a coming!

    The Campulance

The hole was drilled all the way through the fender and internal structure. I moved the radiator coolant over flow bottle to the left. I used one of the original coolant mounting holes to reattach the coolant bottle. A few holes were drilled to attach the other two mounts. After a few quick...

    The Campulance

The Snorkel was purchased off of Ebay. Its for a 80 Series LandCruiser. Cost was $65 and another $35 for shipping to Alaska. Its a Chinese made copy of the ARB snorkel. I must say for the cost its a pretty good deal. The hole is drilled out (I used a 4" hole saw) and the Snorkel was laid up...

    The Campulance

The Snorkel was the last thing I was going to install. Yet it was the very first item that has arrived so far. So today I decided to get busy. The first picture is where I traced the outer edge of the template. I wanted to know where the top edge was when I taped the template on the vehicle...

Yes she was in a small town here in Alaska. The fire department garaged the ambulance pretty much her whole life.

UPDATE: Before winter hit I installed the new shocks. What a difference! Bilstien shocks are a great way to go with these older rigs. I picked mine up from Off Road Design. I've decided to go with the 285/75R16 BFGoodrich AT KO2 tires. This size is pretty common and easy to get. I really...

    4Door Bronco build

I've been looking at Broncos now for about a year. The few up here in Alaska have been absolutely beat on hard. Yesterday I was in Barnes and Nobles and there was this nice 4 door bronco on the cover of Bronco Drivers Magazine. First time I saw the Mag. Its sitting next to me now. Guess I...

    The Campulance

Didn't install the extended front shock mounts as the brake lines are still stock in length. Not sure why someone would install a lift kit and leave the brake lines at stock length. Ordering a set of stainless steel braided lines from Off Road Design. I did install the front shocks on to the...
